Some or other time, many suffer from acne, but normally it occurs during the teenage years, when hormones change, but often it lasts for years thereafter. Unsympathetic ones don't realize that acne causes a loss of confidence.

A lot of acne treatments are available on the market today, possibly hundreds, in fact. Not all are necessarily the right one; some even make the acne worse. A lot of people have tried lotions and creams only to discover it irritated the acne, causing it to flare up and become really sore. In some cases, bleeding has occurred.

Getting to the root of the cause of acne and why it is so bad is the secret to clearing it up. This does not involve going out and purchasing hundreds of dollars of lotions, pills and creams, only to discover that they do not work.

A hormonal imbalance is the root cause of acne, and the medical condition is inflammation, which can be triggered by certain foods. Some foods balance the hormones, while others cause an imbalance - this is where the problem may lie, so not all foods are necessarily bad. Questioning your diet and finding out which foods could be aggravating the condition is the key to finding the root cause.

The worst cause of inflammation is cooking or vegetable oil, often found in, or used to fry junk food like fries, potato chips, cookies and various dressings and sauces like pesto. Be sure to check the ingredients label on packets to avoid vegetable oil. If it tastes greasy it will probably cause inflammation that could result in acne.

Cut out everything containing vegetable oil or anything fried in vegetable oil for a month or two and look what effect it has on your skin. A lot of people say that acne us incurable, that is not true. When you know what the cause is, and cut it out, acne is curable. Imagine, no more creams, lotions and pills and wasting money - these secrets will end this condition and build your self-esteem.

Make sure your body gets enough nutrients. Your body cannot function properly without it, and a deficiency of nutrients is a prime cause of acne. Eating plenty of whole foods, fruit and vegetables daily will help solve this problem over time.

These vitamins, minerals and enzymes are all vital in giving you a healthy clear skin. This will become noticeable after a considerable length of time. The other important rule while using the natural acne method is make sure to eliminate any fungi or yeast infections you might have. These infections can cause acne in people who are not prone to acne genetically. Through using commonsense regarding cleanliness and ensuring to eat the right foods, these are just a few secrets to eliminating acne.
